Great service, great sandwich, ridiculously huge portions

You had me at giant subs. Holy pepperoni! The subs here are huge and they are good! I mean, really good! Fresh sliced meats and hams on tasty bread (choice of white or wheat) and toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, spices and dressing! My host (sandwich maker) today was Robert, a delightful young guy who guided me through the process of choosing what to decorate my sub with. Great experience. Good subs. Super service. It is in the back of a gas station/convenience store, but that just gives it a certain ''what am I doing buying food here'' feel. After tasting the sub I soon forgot that notion. Give it a go and don't be afraid, grasshopper!

My boss was a fan of these guys from the Lansing area and took us to the Grand Rapids location for lunch. The subs were very tasty. The meats and cheeses were all cut right there for our sandwiches. Not precut the day before or who knows when. The owner was friendly and had some good jokes to tell. I will be sure to make this part of my regular lunch stops.

I have loved Jersey Giant since college. The bread is soft and the meats and cheese are sliced to order. The sandwich is large and typically the maker is not skimpy with toppings. Love love love Jersey Giant. This one is located in a gas station, but don't let that deter you. The sandwiches are delicious.

Great meats. Bread, meh....... had a Groupon so tried it out. Definitely not a bad place.

Great subs. Way better sandwich than subway or Blimpy. All the meat and cheese cut to order. Generous portions (full sub to big to finish) in one sitting). The "jersey giant with banana peppers" brought me back to my days at MSU. I was a little disappointed to find the location tucked into the back of a gas station, but don't let that keep you away.
